Pumpkin Spiced Choc-Chip Banana Bread

It’s officially cozy season,  aka pumpkin spice everything ever season. This banana bread is the bomb. Perfect as a treat breakfast on a cold fall morning or snack among the crispy leaves. Try it out!


  • Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 cup light spelt flour
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice or see OLIVIA RETTER FITNESS home-made recipe HERE
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

What To Do:

  1. In a large bowl mix all dry ingredients together with a whisk
  2. In another bowl mix all wet ingredients together
  3. Combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients
  4. fold in chocolate chips – using a spatula – don’t over mix~!
  5. Pour into a sprayed, 8×8 loaf pan
  6. Put in the oven for 35 minutes
  7. slip into pumpkin spiced heaven
