Next Level Coffee

Morning Elixir ❤

Since recently  ( FINALLY ) getting my hormones under control, I have reintroduced my beloved 1 cup of coffee per day. This recipe has been straight magical and I am completely satisfied after just 1 cup. I drink this about 1-3 times a week and the rest I just do coffee with a touch of coconut milk & nothing else. This recipe is creamy & super nourishing and will satisfy any Starbucks craving you will ever have & more… promise.  I store the rest of the coffee mixture in a jar in the fridge & heat on the stove the next time I want some.

But why put coconut oil in my coffee?

You may find it odd to put coconut oil in your coffee but coconut oil made up of MCTs (Medium Chain Triglycerides). MCTs are more rapidly absorbed by the body and are quickly metabolized as fuel (not stored as fat). When coconut oil is in its liquid form (which happens when you put it into hot coffee) It becomes absorbed by the body that much quicker! AKA you will have instant energy to power through your AM workout!

Why use coconut milk in my coffee instead of creamer, dairy milk, soy etc?

The reason I use coconut milk in my coffee is because I am looking for that “creamer” feel in coffee… Have you ever put almond milk in your coffee? EW. It curdles up and separates… not ideal for the coffee addicts that NEED the perfect cup. I find coconut milk in small amounts in my coffee is perfect! Coconut milk just like coconut oil releases instant energy without all the nasty by-products like that of a dairy creamer.. next time do me a favor and read what is in that dairy creamer…..

Why put Gelatin In my Coffee!?

I know I know… This is an odd one. But the truth is Gelatin Collagen Hydrolysate is the most amazing addition to your morning cup of Joe. Here are some benefits:

  • Hydrolyzed collagen gelatin will provide the missing nutritional links for most dietary supplements. A nitrogen balance is maintained for the support of age related collagen loss and cartilage damage. It is an excellent product for those with a sedentary lifestyle who may suffer from repetitive joint pain or discomfort.

Proteins are a primary element of life’s sustenance. The body contains millions of amino acids and peptides which are smaller than proteins. These are essential to the body which regulate functions of the cells. Glycine content of collagen assists the liver in handling foreign substances for individuals exposed by habit or occupation to toxic substances like chemicals, pollutants, alcohol or tobacco. Feeling of alertness, improved concentration, balanced mood, improved energy and increased sense of well-being have been reported by many users.

Hydrolyzed Collagen differs from gelatin as it will dissolve in cold, warm, or hot liquids and will not congeal when chilled. Making this the PERFECT addition to your Next Level Coffee 😉
