Chocolate Cranberry Chia Smoothie Bowl

Honestly. Who eats cranberries anyways? I know I have always stayed away from them because they are so tart and make my mouth feel weird when I eat them, nonetheless these little berries are super healthy. Keep on track & achieve your fitness goals but still get to enjoy the tangy flavor of cranberries with the sweet and rich flavor of chocolate. Give this smoothie a try – cranberries often go unmentioned in the berry world, but they add great tangy flavor & are packed with antioxidants and are amazing for urinary health ladies!

ANYWAYS I decided to blend them up in this super food concoction here, and it worked and it is the BOMB so you should definitely give it a blend 😉

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 TBL high quality cocao powder
  • 15 fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 3 slices of green apple
  • 2 tbl of chia seeds + 1/2 tsp for garnish
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 1 scoop of chocolate perfect fit protein or your fav Sun Warrior is great too
  • 1 1/2 cups of chocolate almond milk ( Check out my post on how to make your own almond milk,  just add in cocao to that recipe to make it chocolate)
  • 1/2 inch of fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

What to do:

  1. Blend baby blend!
  2. Pour into a cute bowl
  3. Devour
  4. If you want this smoothie bowl to be really thick, leave it in the fridge over night & the blended chia seeds will thicken and it will be creamy dreamy & thick just like chia pudding ❤

P.S. I don’t actually suggest putting raw cranberries on top  of the smoothie bowl, I just did this for the picture 😉
